Six Counts of Sales and Transportation of Controlled Substances - Dismissed - Plea Agreement for DEJ on Misdemeanor

At the West Covina Superior Court my client was charged with six counts. Violations of Health and Safety Code sections 11352 - Transportation of Heroin, H&S code section 11351 - Possession for sale of Heroine, H&S code section 11352 - Transportation of Cocaine, H&S code section 11351 Possession for Sale of Cocaine, H&S code section 11360 - Transportation for Sale of Marijuana, and H&S code section 11359 - Possession for Sale of Marijuana. After a thorough investigation and after listening to my client's explanation, I presented an Equities and Mitigation Package to the District Attorney. They agreed that a fair and just resolution would be to dismiss all counts and to add one count for simple possession, for a violation of Health and Safety Code section 11350(a) - a misdemeanor. My client was granted Deferred Entry of Judgment, which upon successful completion will lead to a complete dismissal. What an amazing result! Very happy to have served my client in this case.
