Two Felony Penal Code section 487(a) Charges Reduced to Misdemeanors Pursuant to Penal Code section 17(b) and Dismissed per Penal Code section 1203.4!

Our office was able to obtain a reduction pursuant to Penal Code section 17(b) and dismissals pursuant to Penal Code section 1203.4 for our client! Our client had two felony Penal Code section 487(a) offenses from 2008.

Our client worked in the construction industry and these convictions were making it difficult for him to obtain his State Contractors License. These convictions also caused him difficulty in volunteering for activities involving his children. Our client had no other convictions since this offense and hired our office to seek post-conviction relief.

After review of the case history, we determined our client would be eligible to petition for a reduction of his felony offenses and dismissal. We filed these petitions after gathering equitable documents on his behalf and the motions were granted by the court.

This relief will now place our client in a better position to obtain his state contractors license and advance in his career!
